Saccharide isomerate, also known as “Moisture-Locking Magnet,” 72h Moisture; It is a natural humectant extracted from carbohydrate complexes of plants such as sugarcane. Chemically, it is a saccharide isomer formed through biochemical technology. This ingredient features a molecular structure similar to that of the natural moisturizing factors (NMF) in the human stratum corneum. It can form a long-lasting moisture-locking structure by binding to the ε-amino functional groups of keratin in the stratum corneum, and is capable of maintaining the skin’s moisture-retaining capacity even in low-humidity environments. Currently, it is mainly used as a cosmetic raw material in the fields of moisturizers and emollients.
