Cosmate^®SCLG,Sclerotium Gum is a natural gum that produces an instant gel base when combined with water. It is a gel-like polysaccharide produced through a fermentation process of Sclerotium rolfsii on a glucose-based medium. Cosmate^®SCLG is a member of the β-glucan family. It retains skin moisture in a natural way and improves the sensory characteristics of personal care formulations. When it comes to skin, beta glucans have been found to be film forming, wound healing and skin smoothing.Some applications include: After shaves, anti-wrinkle, after-sun, moisturizers, toothpastes, deodorants, conditioners and shampoos.Cosmate^®SCLG,Sclerotium Gum has natural skin smoothing as well as soothing properties.
